    Prof. dr hab. Mirosława Buchholtz, Head of the Department of English at the NCU, has been elected President of the Henry James Society. The Henry James Society offers an opportunity to expand the knowledge of this great writer of Anglo-American literature, organises meetings and symposiums, and issues The Henry James Review. The Henry James Society’s website provides a rich collection of electronic materials on Henry James, whom Pietro Citati in one of his essays described as the father of all the storytellers of modern times.

Rocznik Przekładoznawczy

"Rocznik Przekładoznawczy" is a national periodical focusing on translation theory, practice and translation teaching. It serves as a forum for the exchange of views among translators and interpreters.

A periodical meant as a forum for exchanging views, opinions and possible solutions that are worth spreading in order to discover new theoretical concepts, methods of working with the text, editorial solutions and procedures regarding works of literature.

Toruńskie Studia Polsko-Włoskie

Published since 2005 in cooperation with the NCU’s Faculty of Law and Administration, this periodical consists of two parts: a legal and a literary one. In the former it focuses on Italian legislation, whereas in the latter on Italian literature and culture.
